Advisor Conclave Travel Grant

The intent of the Conclave Grant is to recognize an exemplary advisor who has never attended Conclave. The recipient will be awarded $200 toward Conclave expenses. Criteria for selection include the accomplishments of the chapter under the advisor's leadership and the advisor's potential for promoting chapter growth.

Qualifications of Candidate

• Current Advisor of Phi Upsilon Omicron Collegiate Chapter.
• Has never attended Phi Upsilon Omicron Conclave (either as a student or alumni).
• Has the ability to promote chapter growth.

To apply for the award, the Nominating Chapter must provide the following information, on a separate sheet of paper, to the National Office by June 1, 2006. Notification of award winners will be made by August 1, 2006.

1. Describe the nominee's efforts in advising your chapter that would merit this award.

2. Explain why you think Conclave attendance would strengthen the nominee's ability to advise the chapter and promote chapter growth.

Recommendation

Please attach one letter of recommendation from a colleague of the nominee describing how they feel the chapter could benefit from the nominee attending Conclave.

Rules Governing Phi Upsilon Omicron Awards

1. Recipients will be selected without bias toward race, creed, gender, national origin or age.
2. Alternate recipients will be selected and notified if the original recipient is unable to accept.
3. Picture and resume may be requested of award recipients for publicity purposes.
